Plungar, in the Vale of Belvoir, is a quiet village, and Rose Cottage a beautifully converted 18th Century timbered cottage offers charming and peaceful accommodation. The Vale of Belvoir which surrounds Plungar is picturesque and unspoilt. We are near the Nottingham/Grantham Canal, in great walking country around Belvoir Castle, passing many good pubs on the way. There are many National Trust Houses and Gardens within easy reach.

All the rooms in Rose Cottage are light and airy, attractively furnished with pretty fabrics, a mix of antiques and modern comforts.

Breakfast is served at the dining table. We offer a large choice of grilled meats and fish, home-made conserves, ground coffee and leaf tea. Dinner or supper is available on request prepared by Vicky (ex-chef and hotelier) bring your own wine.

A convenient stop travelling North or South being only 15mins from A1 and 30mins from M1. East Midlands Airport is 40mins. Nottingham 15miles Leicester 25miles, Grantham 12miles, Newark 14miles.
